My father was the first American pilot for Northwest Orient Airlines (Capt Maxwell M. Wright)to reside in japan after the occupation. In 1953 we our family moved there and occupied what was the US Ambassador’s residence prior to the war. The address as I recall was sangenchaya seda guya koo, 88th street.
I have been trying to get a photographer to take some pictures of the residence for me. They have been unable to verify the address. I can’t imagine how I could have gotten it wrong…it’s only been 65n years. Could you provide me with the correct address please?
